I am setting up a promotion for golfers, 2nd Drink free. I have done most of the work and tested it but how do I date stamp it. ie. It can only happen once per day per customer/member - buy first drink, next drink free - But then it needs to be reset for the next day. Is there an action and rule that could cover that?

Can anybody help with this please. The way I have it set, what the customer buys first he gets the same drink free but it repeats itself, so every other drink is free - I only want to happen once per day.

Working on this now for you.
Basically we add a date field to the customer entity and if the date is before today, then add the free product, and then update the date for the customer to todays date.
Will have a solution soon.
And here we are. This setup will gift any item you like for a selected Promo Product. Promo available once per day.
The reason for 2x Add Promo Product Rules is to handle a customer that has never received the Promo and therefore will not have a Promo Date.
