Hello.....
We currently use the 2.71 version of Samba. I was wondering if its possible to set up time sensitive pricing for products? For example......
* Regular price of a beer is set up for $5 each
* This same beer is available for $4 during Happy Hour (Monday - Friday from 5pm - 7pm)
* This same beer is also available on special every Tuesday from 9pm - Midnight.
Is it possible for me to set up this one product to automatically change price during the promotion and revert back to its original price once the promotion is over?
Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

I don't have answer for you but you are using very old version. I'm not sure if V2 have time trigger (but V3 do). You may have to create button to switch Price Definition manually. There is an answer on forum2.sambapos.org. you may want to go there.
in V2 you have "Triggers" which allow you to set Happy Hour start and finish times.
You need a second price definition setup and then go to Price Editor to set the pricing on the products you want To discount.
Next, create an action to change Price Definition.
Then create a Rule using event Trigger and set your action from above.
This will automatically change the pricing. I'm not in front of a computer at the moment so I can't give you exact setup.

Hi there,
Yes I have done Happy Hour with trigger but
how to change back price to normal after happy hour ends?
I try but there is no tag for normal price.
*note
happy hour 7 to 10.
That's right. Just leave the tag empty to revert to normal pricing.
hi.
i got the trigger to work. the trigger however does not end/stop prices stay on the specials till the work peroid ends.
