If you change display filter of the account screen as "work period", "Sales" account should display total sales during work period. You can change existing account screen or create a new one to display work period totals.
... also tax transaction should increase "Receivables" account balance like Sale transaction does. Because you'll receive tax amount from customer. Receivables balance should always show total amount that you need to receive from open tickets.

What kind of problems? Error message?
It is not a mistake!
I just wanted to know if using an account that you can know the total of a period of work including tickets that are still open.

This does not happen if you add a tax included in the price.

I would like to create an account where you see the sales tax included.

So add tax account to the screen (tax account should have same account type as sales account) and enable (display as tree) setting.
