Hi, I'm wondering if it is possible to use SambaPOS with a mysql web server. I have tried to do so, but I could not configure it well.
I have created a database on server: mysql8.iworx-host.com
database name: fruitwin_sambapos
user: fruitwin_samba
pass: ClewsUseGanglySour21
To the data source i tried: data source=mysql8.iworx-host.com\fruitwin_sambapos; user id=fruitwin_samba; password=ClewsUseGanglySour21
Since this I can not start the program...
The database is currently empty.

having a web-database would be great! but I think Samba doesn't support Mysql at the moment it only works with SQL Compat or SQL Server which are different, I don't know if it could work, but try to find a free Microsoft SQL server for testing and remember to give users the required permisions for writing to the database
