Hi,
I want to Migrate SambaPos from my old Laptop (windows XP) to my new PC (Windows 7) ,
I have downloaded and installed SambaPos on the new Computer but want to use our current config/dataset which is on the old laptop
Can someone please give me the steps to do so , I've browsed Qs but they refer only to SQL etc which is way beyond my abilities to understand.

I think we lacked information in question
SambaPOS V3? you are using CE or SQ? if CE copying the database and paste into another computer in my documents folder

I'm using V2.99 .
Can you give me the names of the files ?
Is it Sambadata ?
If so do I just copy it to location in new computer and start SambaPOS ?

Still not migrating V2 to V3, this project is in progress, you need to install the V3 and would have to register all over again or wait for this migration tool, it is worthwhile to use this incredible system V3
Look for SambaData2.sdf. Should be in [My Documents]/SambaPOS2/SambaData2.sdf
Copy it to C:\Users\{USER}\Documents\SambaPOS2
Run SambaPOS and set your data connection string under Manage->Settings->Local Settings to
data source=C:\Users\{USER}\Documents\SambaPOS2\SambaData2.sdf
Save, and restart SambaPOS.
