I don't want to have the gift button on the screen as I don't want my staff to abuse it. How do I remove it from the POS Screen?

Go to Manage->Automation->Automation Commands->Gift->Mappings and change User Role to Admin. Click save.
Do the same for Cancel Gift.
Now only people with Admin Role can Gift items.
