Hi Everyone, I have just joined the forum.
I have been searching all over for more info on ticket logging, but cannot find any info and I hope someone here can help.
I am using Sambapos V3.
I have added a "no sale" button to the cash register to open the drawer (to change money for fruit machines etc)
I have set it to log these events using 'ticket log' which records the {ENTITY NAME:Server}
However the log seems to clear when I gointo the menu and come back
I have a few questions:
Is this log saved to a file?
Can I have this log print like I can the reports?
I am also running into some issues by using 'Servers' (Drink servers aka bar person) instead of logging in as users, as it is too busy to log in and out when multiple people are using the same cash register (Similar to how you choose a table, you choose your name onthe server list screen.)
The issues, which maybe someone can help with...
I would like to have cash taken by each server entity to be printed on the report (similar to how it prints this info for users, as server entitys are used inplace of real users).
I also tried another method of tracking nosale's, by incrementing the nosale count field of the server entity (I am confident I can get this to work, but I stopped for the following reason...)
However would it be able to print this information on the reports?
So it would show all server entities with the count field?
