I would wish to use SambaPOS for a bookshop. Is it specific for the hotel industry or it's generic? Any accounting modules?

You can use SambaPOS for a bookshop. But it maybe difficult since a bookshop will contain thousands of products for which you will need to create products, inventory items and recipes to manage inventory.

I would suggest to use a Retail POS software.
