We were using the program just fine - needed to reboot the computer and when we tried to open Samba we get the following -

Nothing was installed - nothing was changed - Not sure what to do - do not want to lose data
We are using Samba POS 2

If that is your connection string above, it is not a proper windows path.
You can always search for SambaData2.sdf and put that path into the connection string.
Unfortunate - I am not supper technically minded - enough to get myself into trouble - LOL - - I searched for sambadata2.sdf and could not find - I see a number of Samba dll but not this one in specific -could you provide more details -

If you go to Documents and SambaPOS2 folder, is there a SambaData2 file?
Are you using only one pos terminal?
from what you have described, your SambaPOS database file is missing.
Yes the file is still there - I have copied it hoping to recover the customer numbers in the system - I then uninstalled Samba - - checked updates on windows and rebooted the computer and downloaded new version - once this was done - I tried to open the new program and have the same error,
PS - downloaded same to my laptop and it opend just fine and testing fine....not so on the bar desktop
