in what class or function exactly does a ticket get its number assigned?

i'm linking two systems one for retail and one for the restaurant which is sambapos at the sequence numbering level so both system follow the same numbering sequence no matter what each system prints but i need to know exclatly where does samba assign its sequence to the ticket to intercept this on samba and on the other system to sync.
