SambaPOS is strictly a Windows program. To use on any other OS you need a Remote Desktop application and setup a terminal server To access SambaPOS.
Its not possible without major changes. one of the main reason is it uses WPF which is not available in mono.
What you pay for a decent Andriod tablet will buy you a Windows tablet. I paid AU$350 for my Asus Win8 tablet.
