Connection string failed and cannot reset

Hi all:

I've installed SambaPOS V3 and tried to configure to run with SQL Server. Specified the database connection string via samba and reboot SambaPOS. Now a message appears telling me the connection to the database failed and the program needs to reboot (when pressing "accept" sambaPOS closes.

I've uninstalled SambaPOS and reinstalled using compact option this time, but it keeps trying to connect with the connection string that failed.

I've uninstalled 3 times now, ereased all regedit with sambaPOS, deleted all files and folders that the installation generated, but when I reinstall it, it keeps trying to use the connection string that I specified the first time.

Can anyone give me a hand on this? Many thanks!

Found that the program shows a box informing you the connection string was not able to connect. You can edit directly in that window the connection string and try again.

When the software is installed it creates a file C:\ProgramData\Ozgu Tech\SambaPOS3\SambaSettings.txt You could edit that file too to specify the correct connection string.
