How to prevent existing loyalty card customers getting additional Happy Hour discounts?

I have existing loyalty card type customers, say "directors", "gold" & "silver" with existing discounts levels applying to them. I have set up "Happy Hour" discount prices in Price Definitions. I then run a Happy Hour using the trigger set up, which works fine. But how do I prevent my loyalty card customers getting another discount.

I have tried using matches etc but can't quite find the solution.  Any ideas?
