Sambapos team. Thank you. I've used V2 before for a while and was very happy with it. However, the one currency was a big limitation. It's a new feature in V3, I'd really like to participate in testing and such.
I installed V3, batch added products and added products to Menu categories. Menu didn't show up in POS until after I restarted the computer and SambaPOS a couple of times, not sure if thats what fixed it. I added a # at the beginning of each category line, but the categories created had a # at the beginning! What gives ? And why do the categories show with a ) at the end? I edited the categories one by one to remove the # hashtag characters.
There are many new stuff in V3 that I don't know about, any documentation or brief description about new stuff like :
- how do I make a floormap?
- What is an entity?
- ticket types?
- how do I format pricing to remove the .00 and round off the nearest 250 as thats the smallest money unit we have.
I understand the documentation is not complete but I'd use anything available.
