I am new to SambaPOS and in learning process, my question is.....
Group code are not updated to reflect new menu categories which I added recently, when I try to add new product in Product list I still see old menu categories.
I have restarted SambaPOS and computer but no luck, can some one please explain me how this works? I think this is a bug in system please see attached screenshots
In Screenshot 'MenuCategory.JPG' you will see I created 10 new Categories but when I go to 'Product list' under product menu I see old categories which I have deleted See 'ProductList.jpeg'.
I also when I try to add new product I still see old categories in Product group and my new categories are not reflected in group.
Can someone please shed some light on this or explain how to configure Categories, Product Groups and products.

Categories in the Product List is not necessarily same as the categories in the Menu List.
1. Categories in the Product List will show in the Reports.
2. Categories in the Menu List will be shown in the POS. And also you can create sub-categories in Menu List by going to Edit Product Properties in Menu.
noobs (like me): note there is no menu option to set up Categories in the Product List.
Just type in a new category instead of picking one from the drop-down, and it will be added automatically.
(after 15 minutes of head-scratching to figure out the obvious...) ;-)
